what is energy kitchen?

energy kitchen was created with the belief that you shouldn't have to compromise health or taste when it comes to fast food. eating great tasting healthy meals on the go should be easy, which is why nothing on our menu is over 500 calories and everything is grilled, baked or steamed, never fried.

we've stayed true to our recipe for success - serving up nutritious and convenient meals and providing low-calorie, low fat, tasty eats with a wide variety of meal options. we've raised the bar with tasty, healthy burgers, wraps, salads, smoothies and only low calorie beverages.

and because we know that all calories are not created equal, we've created lean, delicious meal options to keep you energized. our guilt-free ordering leaves you with one less thing to worry about so now you can enjoy a burger without looking like a whopper.

why do you list calories on your menu?

at energy kitchen, we believe in the idea of transparency (an open kitchen here) and take nutrition very seriously. there are no hidden ingredients, no hidden calories, no hidden serving sizes and no fryers on premise. while we are not required to list calorie counts, we choose to do so because we want you to know exactly what you are consuming. all of our nutritional information is listed in our stores and online.

how is your food prepared?

all of our food is grilled, baked or steamed nothing is ever fried. everything is cooked to order and it is never made in advance, because we believe that eating healthy is worth waiting for.

what kind of protein do you serve?

we serve only lean protein, including bison, premium ground sirloin, grilled chicken, chicken burgers, premium ground turkey, turkey burgers, norwegian salmon, seared tuna, turkey bacon, egg whites and tofu. protein is an essential part of the human diet which helps us all to maintain good health. lean proteins are better for you because they provide your body with the protein it needs without the extra calories and fat.

what is bison?

bison comes from a buffalo and it has a naturally flavorful beef-like taste. bison is very lean and is low in calories, cholesterol and fat, while still providing iron and protein. our premium bison is chemical-free, hormone-free and steroid-free. bison is a dense meat that tends to satisfy you more while eating less. bison is high in iron which makes it an ideal protein for women.

what is acai?

pronounced a-sa-yee, this fruit-bearing palm tree is native to northern brazil and found extensively in the amazon rain forest. the acai berry contains high levels of antioxidants, essential fatty acids, amino acids and it is packed with vitamins and minerals to help fight free radicals and keep you healthy.

how do i order on www.energykitchen.com?
our web site has easy steps and choices for ordering. simply choose the location you would like to order takeout or delivery from. select menu items from the category menu bars and select the options or modifiers in the menu item's screen. comments can be added to the "comments/special instructions:" box. use the "add to cart" button and continue shopping. when finished click the "checkout" button. let us know if you'll be taking out or would like your order delivered. your default delivery address is the billing address entered during site registration however you have the option to change this during checkout. you may also enter any additional comments in the "comments/special instructions" box. select the payment method and click on the "process order button to submit your order. don't worry, it's easy.
why do i have to register to order?
everyone who orders registers one time so that future orders are made easy with just your email and password login. the system needs your email for confirmation of your orders. the restaurant needs contact information in case an adjustment or a question regarding your order is necessary. it'll just take a sec.
is my email and address information secure and not given out to any email spammers?
yes, your email and profile information is secure and is never given to anyone! even if they ask nicely.
is my credit card secure?
absolutely, yes. all credit card data is encrypted and secured without access from the internet. when credit card information is transmitted over the internet, it is done so over an ssl secured site connection. we got your back.
how do i know my order was received at the restaurant?
no need to call us just to make sure...all online orders are sent directly to our point of sale system which generates a confirmation once your order is successfully processed. if there is a problem you are notified immediately and given an opportunity to reprocess the order. if you get a "thank you" page, your golden, the order was received and it will be ready in a few shakes of a bison's tail.
how do i reorder a past order?

you can reorder a past order in two ways. you must log into your account and click on "orders" or your "favorites/saved carts." all your past orders are saved in the system. simply log in to your account and click "orders" to view past orders. all your past orders will be displayed and you may select any one and add it to the cart by clicking "order id" and the "add this order to cart" button. you may save any order as a favorite. if you have favorite orders saved simply click on the "order name" and the "add this order to cart" button. now you're ready for checkout.

note: since menu items frequently change the system notes whether or not the items in your past or favorite orders are currently available and alerts you if they have been taken off the menu.

can i have my order delivered to a second address?
yes, the system allows for entering multiple addresses and selecting them at checkout. you can add or edit your additional addresses by logging in to your account and clicking on the "shipping/delivery addresses" link. there you may view existing addresses and change or add addresses. once you have added addresses you may select anyone of them during "checkout". you may also enter new addresses during "checkout". now you're covered at home and at the office.
can i leave special instructions for my order?
yes, you can. each item has a "comments/special instructions" box in which you can leave special instructions concerning the item. in addition, the order has a "comments/special instructions:" box available during "checkout" where you may leave special instructions concerning your order. yep. we welcome all you high maintenance folks.
can i cancel an order once it is placed?
if you need to cancel an order that has been submitted to the restaurant you must call the restaurant by phone to notify them.
can i order for take-out or delivery in the future?
yes, you can order up to 24 hours in advance. there is a future "date / time" selection in the "take-out/pickup or delivery date & time" drop down box during checkout. so even if you can't predict the future, at least you can order lunch for it.
